Macon Banks
FORT WORTH -- Macon "Mike" Banks, 83, a manufacturer of wooden airboat props, died Tuesday at an Alta Mesa nursing home after a long illness.

Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Guardian Chapel.

Macon Banks was born Sept. 5, 1913, in Maypearl.

Survivors: Wife, Catherine Wilson Banks of Fort Worth; son and wife, David and Linda Banks of Dallas; stepdaughters, Wendy Hames of Cedar Hill and Tyrrelll Lourie of Austin; twin sister, Irene Leach of Burleson; and grandchildren, Chad Leslie, Nathan Leslie, Elizabeth Banks and Ada Wanstrom.
